Versatile Compact 2-Way Server QuantaGrid D51PC-1U is a compact and versatile 2-way server. It is based on the dual Intel® Xeon® processor E5-2600 v3,v4 product family, and offers up to eight DDR4 memory, and three PCIe expansion devices to deliver enterprise grade performance. It is an ideal front-end web, data-caching, search and application server. |
Ultra Dense Short Chassis The QuantaGrid D51PC-1U supports dual CPUs, eight DRAMs, three PCIe expansion devices and two PSUs in a 24" deep chassis. With shorter form factor, this server can be deployed in almost any SMB or data center environment. |
Affordable Enterprise Class Performance and Reliability The D51PC-1U delivers enterprise-class performance based on the latest Intel® Xeon® processor E5-2600 v3,v4 product family and the DDR4 memory technology. Despite its compact size, it retains scalability and reliability. By offering necessary LAN and storage expansion flexibility without superfluous configuration options, its total cost of ownership is low. The QuantaGrid D51PC-1U can accommodate one PCIe x16 OCP mezzanine, one PCIe x16 QCT LAN or SAS mezzanine, plus one PCIe x8 low-profile card (adding up to 12 GbE ports in a 1U chassis). The server can support one fan rotor and PSU redundancy to maintain reliable application performance even if one of these critical components fails. |
Flexible and Scalable I/O Options QuantaGrid D51PC-1U provides flexible I/O scalability for today’s diverse data center application requirements. It features OCP LAN mezzanine card solutions in addition to dual GbE or quad 1GbE LAN on motherboards (LoM). With various controller vendors and different speed and technology options, customers can choose from 1GbE to 56GbE bandwidth, copper or fiber-optic cabling, basic Ethernet function or FCoE and ISCI SAN connectivity. The onboard SAS controller offers multiple Quanta SAS mezzanine card options with different RAID levels and data transfer bandwidth so customers can tailor the SAS controller for specific application needs. |

Installation / Setup Tips (8)
- 1. Stop Error 0x1A in the nt!MiUpdateWsle function in Windows 8.1 or Windows Server 2012 R2.
- 2. Please read the readme file before attempting upgrade BIOS/BMC.
- 3. RHEL 6.3 uEFI combined with tboot is not supported.
- 4. RHEL 7 can't install guest OS from CD/DVD-ROM.
- 5. RHEL 7.2 becomes black screen and "PECI over DMI interface error" logged in the BMC from boot splash to login screen.
- 6. Setting resolution by hot key ''CTRL'' + ''ALT'' + ''+'' or ''-'' doesn't work in RHEL7.
- 7. System doesn't shut down when doing graceful shutdown function via QSM.
- 8. The HDD Connector Ports Are Reversed in QS3108 Option ROM
