Company presents advanced cross-vertical use cases for 5G smart factories, AI in healthcare, and more

Taipei, Taiwan - May 30, 2023 - Quanta Cloud Technology (QCT), a global data center solution provider, returns to COMPUTEX 2023 taking place from May 30 to June 2, at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Hall 1.  At Room 3F00A, the company is exhibiting cross-vertical industry application use cases, encompassing 5G, AI, and Cloud solutions, as well as data center and edge hardware that is “Driving Sustainable Digital Transformation from Edge to Cloud.”

At COMPUTEX 2023, QCT will be showcasing the following demos:

Use Cases

  • 5G & AI applications - Smart agriculture, telecommunications, manufacturing, healthcare, higher education and research use cases in collaboration with Techman Robot, HJUAV, and Vossic Technologies.
  • QCT 5G x AI Open Lab - Smart factory operation safety, assembly, inspection and other applications will be shown through a remote connection to the QCT 5G x AI Open Lab, along with partner sessions delivered by Hwacom, Panasonic, and Light Matrix.

QCT Solutions

  • QCT OmniPOD Enterprise 5G Solution - an end-to-end private 5G network solution comprising a 5G core with a high-availability design, 5G RAN with flexible system configurations, and management system with visualized network management. The solution is 3GPP standard-compliant and Intel Xeon processor-based, supporting both single-site and multi-site deployments depending on the user's scenario.
  • QCT POD - a Best Choice Award Winner at this year's conference and a rack level system with best-fit building blocks and software integration for specific workloads designed for High Performance Computing (HPC), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Analytics driven by dual Intel Xeon Scalable processors and NVIDIA accelerator cards. The advanced features that QCT POD newly released allow it to deliver a cloud-native scheduler and data tiering tools for enterprises, enabling customers to enhance the efficiency of data management.

QCT Infrastructures

  • HPC-AI Server - the first server to introduce the NVIDIA Grace Hopper Superchip in conjunction with the NVIDIA MGX architecture, delivering breakthrough accelerated performance for giant-scale AI-HPC applications.
  • Data Center and Edge Appliances - QuantaGrid, QuantaPlex, and QuantaEdge servers powered by the 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors with vRAN boost and Intel Atom processors. Single/dual socket balanced architectures with built-in acceleration and advanced security that deliver high-performance, I/O expandability and power efficiency.
  • QCT QoolRack - an innovative liquid cooling solution that promotes sustainable supercomputing for a greener future utilizing a coolant distribution unit (CDU) and rear-door heat exchanger to effectively dissipate heat generated by newer CPUs, without changing the existing data center infrastructure.

"As ChatGPT has sparked an upsurge in interest, it shows that the demand for AI has shifted from large institutions and research centers to end users for various environments and use cases," said Mike Yang, President of QCT. “QCT, over the years, has provided powerful and reliable infrastructures supporting high-performance computing, and our private 5G solutions with large bandwidth and low latency for real-time data transmission that are enabling use cases across Smart Factory, Smart Healthcare, IoT, and more. We look forward to continuing to provide these solutions moving forward as we see 5G, AI and the Cloud converge to help customers reduce their costs and improve productivity."

Based on years of hardware manufacturing and cloud expertise, QCT has developed 5G, HPC, and integrated AI solutions to help enterprises quickly obtain market insights and improve the rate of return on data-driven investments. You are invited to visit QCT at Room 3F00A, at Hall 1, in the Nangang Exhibition Center during the exhibition period to learn more details.
