Data center racks with 72 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs deliver exascale computing in a single rack for new AI infrastructures

San Jose, CA—May 27, 2025— Quanta Cloud Technology (QCT), a leading provider of data center solutions, announced its first shipment of its NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 system to WhiteFiber, a US provider of next-generation GPU clouds for HPC and AI infrastructures. Shipped at the end of March, the system was installed and in operation at the customer site in May. This marks a significant milestone for both companies’ AI business.

The NVIDIA GB200 Grace™ Blackwell Superchip connects two high-performance NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs and one NVIDIA Grace CPU with the NVIDIA NVLink-C2C that delivers 900 gigabytes per second (GB/s) of bidirectional bandwidth. The revolutionary NVIDIA GB200 Grace Blackwell Superchip is built for inferencing, generative AI, data processing, engineering design, high-performance computing, and simulation. At rack-scale, the NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 acts as a single, extremely powerful unit of computing with 1.4 exaFLOPS of AI performance, up to 13.4 TB HBM3e shared-memory with 576 TB/s bandwidth, and 30X faster real-time trillion parameter LLM inference over the previous generation NVIDIA H100 GPU.

The QCT delivered NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 brings extraordinary performance by seamlessly integrating GPUs, CPUs, and switches. This rack-scale system, built by QCT, includes eighteen QuantaGrid D75B-1U compute trays. Each compute tray supports up to two NVIDIA GB200 Grace Blackwell Superchips in a 1U form factor, providing data centers and large enterprises with the exascale compute power needed for complex AI clusters. Advanced liquid cooling options in the NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 also create an energy efficient and water efficient solution for the new era of computing. Leveraging the NVIDIA GB200 Grace Blackwell Superchip and fifth-generation NVIDIA NVLink™ interconnect technology, all of the QCT D75B-1U compute trays collectively offer not only remarkable performance, but also energy efficiency.
